I have had same problems with Dell. I don't buy from them anymore because of their customer service and support. Sure would of liked the free book though.
Dell continues to amaze me, and not in a positive way. I tried to obtain this book and finally found the link in the "Business/State and Local Government" tab. When you click on the linkmin takes you back to the first link (an absolute endless loop). I have called Dell (including their corporate office four times now and have dealt with the most incompetent group of people I could ever imagine. I have been disconnected tiwce while waiting to be transferred (including once at the corporate level). Dell really stinks (not the word I really wanted to use). The only good thing about this experience is that it has convinced me and re-reminded me how bad Dell's customer service is. I also realize I will no longer need this book. They have made the decision for me. Good bye Dell, Hello Apple IMac 27!
link does not seem to work for me
