Signal boosters are NOT recommended for cable modems - they cause cable modems to receive larger amounts of noise which can burn most cable modems out. If you are having signal problems, contact your service provider. Most signal problems can be rectified on the backside of your home by replacing the brass grounding block, the silicone-filled rubber boots and metal connectors, and the green grounding wire which attaches to a spike driven in the dirt next to the foundation. If this does not solve the problem, it is most likely a bad cable buried in your lawn or elsewhere external to your home or an adjustment that needs to be made on the service provider's equipment near your home.
