This deal involves doing advertising for Amazon.
In order to get your $5 credit, Amazon will send a tweet from your twitter account that you got a $5 Amazon credit with a link to the deal. To me, this borders on being unethical, since the tweet doesn't clearly state that you got the $5 credit for having the tweet sent from your account. (Readers will figure that out only after they click on the link and see that a tweet will be sent from their accounts to get the $5 credit.)
People have a lot of different views about how to use social media ethically.
This deal isn't something I'd feel good about doing.
