The HP Pavilion a6642p-b desktop computer bundle is designed to handle today's digital media, plus includes a 19" LCD flat panel monitor. Powered by an Intel Pentium dual-core processor, the a6642p-b features an enormous 6GB memory, an extra-large 500GB hard drive, multiformat DVD drive and memory card reader.
The included HP w1907 19" widescreen BriteView LCD monitor offers 2 built-in speakers, WXGA+ (1440 x 900) native resolution and a fast 5ms response time, suitable for action movies and high-speed gaming. It also provides both analog and digital (DVI-D) connectivity, with HDCP support for viewing protected high-definition (HD) content. Its 300 cd/m2 brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio combine for high-quality images and text. Monitor has adjustable tilt. Overall dimensions (with base): 14.9"H x 18.2"W x 7.2"D.
The LightScribe™ SuperMulti DVD drive lets you burn and play both CDs and DVDs, including DVD-RAM and DVD±R Double Layer format, with 8.5GB capacity per disc. LightScribe lets you etch silkscreen-quality labels (grayscale text and graphics) onto discs using the drive itself: After burning content, just flip the disc over in the drive to burn the label. (Labeling feature requires LightScribe-compatible discs, sold separately.)
