5.1 home theater system: The Sony Bravia DAV-HDX275 not only gives you 5.1 surround sound, but also features a 5-DVD 1080p upscaling DVD player. Courtesy of an HDMI connection, you can also watch your standard DVDs at an upconverted rate of 1080p; basically, you’ll get a much cleaner and more crisp image, when connected to a high-definition television set, and it turns your regular DVDs into High Definition.

1,000 watts of power: While Dolby Digital gives you a true 5.1 home theater experience, with each speaker processing its own respective sound channel from a source, Dolby Pro Logic II takes any stereo source (or one with only two channels of dedicated audio) and gives it that 5.1 channel feel.

Multi-format: The DAV-HDX275 also plays CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, SA-CD, DVD-RW CPRM, DVD+R/+R DL, VCD and JPEG playback.

Tuner included: Not only is an AM/FM tuner included, but a sound equalizer, as well.
