Bahamas Cruise for One or Two
Explore Grand Bahama Island’s idyllic beaches during this 2-night cruise aboard the Grand Celebration. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy this tropical island during eco- and family-friendly activities, including snorkeling, dolphin swims, and a Jeep tour of a Bahamian island. As you sail to and from the Bahamas, the ship’s restaurants, casino, live shows, pool deck, and bars will keep you well-fed and busy.
Day 1: Depart from Palm Beach, FL
Your cruise officially begins at 6 p.m. when the ship casts off, but you can board as early as noon. Take some time to explore the ship’s many restaurants and bars, which include fine dining and buffet options. Guests can enjoy live music, five pools and jetted tubs, as well as a casino, spa and beauty salon, which features a steam room and fitness center.
Day 2: Grand Bahama Island
After you arrive on Grand Bahama at 8 a.m., you’ll have 10 hours to explore the island. Swim with dolphins and scuba-dive snorkel through colorful coral reefs, or learn about the island’s culture and history on a jeep tour. The Botanical Gardens of the Groves is also worth a visit: take a guided tour of the beautiful tropical landscape before shopping the Port Lucaya Marketplace. If a soft, empty beach sounds more your speed, you can take a 45-foot catamaran to one for some sunbathing and swimming.
Day 3: Return to Palm Beach, FL
After another night of dining, dancing, and lounging aboard the ship, you’ll arrive back at the port at 7 a.m.
Ship at a Glance: Grand Celebration
The Grand Celebration cruise ship is akin to a floating Las Vegas resort, albeit more kid-friendly: It houses five pools, eight bars, and a casino filled with slot and table games. Little ones can romp around the kids club while you pamper yourself at the spa or grab a snack at the many restaurants. The whole family can also take in a show at the performance center, which offers concerts and other live entertainment.
