The Gateway GM5472 desktop offers powerful multi-tasking and advanced entertainment features, including an HDTV tuner, and handles a broad range of digital media. It features the dual-core power of an AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor 5000+, a large 2.0GB memory, an enormous 500GB hard drive, multiformat DVD burner, and versatile memory card reader.

The TV tuner is compatible with both analog (NTSC) as well as digital (ATSC) television signals, so you can view and live TV — including HD broadcasts — on your PC and record shows on the hard drive. In addition to its 3-D comb filter, the tuner card has analog TV and ATSC (digital) input ports, plus an S-video port (an S-video to composite video adapter is provided). A convenient Vista™ Media Center remote control is included. (Note: HD reception requires an ATSC digital antenna, not included.)

The DVD SuperMulti drive lets you burn and play DVDs and CDs, including DVD-RAM and DVD±R Double Layer format, for up to 8.5GB of data on a single disc.
