The HP Pavilion tx2510us is a compact touch-screen notebook for portable digital entertainment and powerful computing. Weighing only about 4.5 lbs, it features a 12.1" widescreen BrightView WXGA display — with touch-screen functionality — that swivels 180° from side to side and folds flat. The screen has the same resolution as a 15.4" screen, but in more compact size. The notebook also features the new AMD Turion X2 Ultra dual-core mobile processor, huge 3GB memory and 250GB hard drive.
The touch screen lets you capture drawings and hand-written notes and convert them to text. Navigate with the included stylus, or just use your fingernail.
The LightScribe™ SuperMulti DVD drive lets you burn and play DVDs and CDs, including DVD±R/RW and Double Layer DVD media (with a capacity of 8.5GB per disc). LightScribe allows high-quality laser-etched disc labeling (text and images) using the same drive. (LightScribe media required, sold separately.)
Wireless-N (draft 802.11n), the latest in wireless, can provide increased wireless speed and range, particularly in a Wireless-N network. It is backward compatible with for 802.11a/b/g, for seamless connectivity with most existing wireless networks. Bluetooth wireless is also provided.
HP QuickPlay lets you play music CDs and movie DVDs within seconds after power turn-on. Plus, there's a remote control and stereo earbud headphones!
