A scratch-resistant Sapphire-coated hardened mineral crystal protects the jet-black enamel dial which boasts luminous silvertone hour, minute and subdial hands, silvertone Roman numerals and hour markers, a luminous red second hand and a quick-set date display window located at the 4:30 position. Contrasting silvertone and black chronograph subdials are located at the 3:00-6:00-9:00 hour position and measure 24-hours, 60-seconds and 60-minutes. In addition, this Lucien Piccard features a polished solid silvertone stainless steel bezel and a stainless steel pumpkin design crown with a crown protector located at the 3:00 hour position along with chronograph function pushers! With the utmost in comfort and wearablity in mind, Lucien Piccard designed this watch with a soft black tire-tread patterned rubber strap. Additionally, this LP comes with an extra orange tire-tread rubber strap - a $25 value! The straps are tightly secured by a solid stainless steel pin buckle clasp embossed with the LP insignia.
