Along with a brilliant, 4" color display and preloaded maps of the U.S. and Canada, the Drive GPS 140 combines accurate, street-level GPS navigation with hands free, Bluetooth calling capability and MP3, photo viewing and video playing.

In building the Drive GPS 140, Pharos has answered every need asked by mobile professionals. Starting off with a thin design for easy transporting, the 140 contains street level maps of the U.S. and Canada preloaded and routing software that delivers voice prompted, turn by turn driving directions. GPS signals are acquired with the highly sensitive SiRFstarIII and routes are clearly shown on the large, 4.0" color touch screen display. The hands free Bluetooth feature for cell phones helps to keep eyes on the road when discussing business and also comes in handy for in-vehicle multi-person conversations with customers or the office. For added entertainment when driving long distances, the 140 also comes equipped with a photo viewer, an MP3 player and a video player. Music files as well as video files can be heard in full sound when connected to a vehicles sound system via the speaker outlet jack on the 140.

Navigation solutions are powered by Pharos' award winning "OSTIA" software, which offers an easy to use interface for rapid input of addresses and output of driving directions. OSTIA also allows for customization of the device, where users have the option to select from five different languages, choose how they wish to have their route calculated and also decide if they wishto view their route in a "heading up" or "north up" manner.

The 140 comes with everything you need to power the unit and display it in your vehicle. A windshield mounting bracket, USB cable, AC charger, 12 volt DC car charger and 2GB SD card are included, making for easy installationright out of the box. Return to Top
