The Slingbox TUNER is the perfect companion for your basic cable subscription. Connects directly to your cable TV
The Slingbox TUNER is designed for TVs without a set-top cable box or satellite receiver (if you want to connect a set-top box, DVR, or satellite receiver, take a look at the Slingbox AV or Slingbox PRO). All you need to do is take the coaxial cable coming from your wall and plug it into the back of the Slingbox TUNER. We've even thrown in a cable splitter too in case you are using the cable for a cable modem or directly to a TV set. Connecting the Slingbox TUNER is about as easy as hooking up an old VCR, and the best part is there's no blinking 12:00.

SlingPlayer for Windows Vista
Sling Media is happy to announce that its current SlingPlayer PC software (a free download that can be found at http://www.dealigg.com/shop.php?id=71231&url=http://us.slingmedia.com/page/slingplayer.html) is compatible with Microsoft's just-released Windows Vista operating system. New and existing Slingbox customers (TUNER, AV, PRO and Classic) who own a Windows Vista PC (Desktop or Laptop) will be able to enjoy all the same benefits the SlingPlayer software has to offer on Windows 2000 and Windows XP-based systems. Sling Media has been working with Microsoft closely to ensure compatibility well in advance of the release of the Windows Vista OS.

Sling Media has also been working with Microsoft to deliver an optimized version of the SlingPlayer PC software that takes advantage of specific new features that can only be found on the Windows Vista OS. Specifically SlinPlayer for Windows Vista, which will be available as a free download for Slingbox customers from the same web URL above, features enhanced video rendering via Aero Glass and the ability to stream from multiple Slingboxes to one Vista-enabled PC using multiple gadgets in the sidebar.
