H.O.P. Woofers

In order for a speaker to produce sound, it needs to move air. In some cases, like today's multichannel movie soundtracks, speakers need to move a lot of air. The 8" woofer in each of these bookshelf speakers use a mineral filled injection molded Highly Oriented Polyolefin (H.O.P.) material that's up to 30 times more rigid (per unit weight) than polypropylene. This greatly improves the strength of the driver cone, so you get low distortion and extraordinary transient response. As a result, you enjoy excellent bass and mid-range reproduction.
Nano Fine Tweeters

Not forgetting the higher end of the spectrum, the dome style tweeter is constructed of a special Nano composite that produces a tighter, smoother surface that decreases resistance and therefore creates less heat than traditional pulp compound tweeters. With broad frequency band and a wide operating temperature range, Nano composite is clearly superior, providing virtually flat response all the way up to 50kHz while low loss in the ultra high frequency above 20kHz is held to a minimum. Distortion is reduced and the extended frequency response means you get more out of today's high resolution audio.
