Open / add a new line to your account (plan line costs may vary)
Purchase the device via your newly added line at checkout.
Upon pickup or shipment & receipt of your unlocked, paid-in-full Motorola device, you may continue to pay for / keep the newly added line active if desired, for as long as you desire.
Otherwise, you may cancel the line at any time (given you do not owe any payments to Best Buy, Verizon or AT&T for the phone and you are not required to keep the line active for any minimum amount of time).
